Founded by Amber and Brilee, the studio was built on the belief that great design isn’t about copying trends — it’s about understanding how a home functions, how it feels, and how it supports everyday life.
With backgrounds in residential design, remodeling, and project planning, our team helps homeowners navigate the many moving parts of creating or transforming a space. From early layout decisions to the final layers of materials and furnishings, we guide clients through the process with clarity, creativity, and experience.

Rather than working from a single signature style, our process is built around collaboration and thoughtful planning. Every project begins with understanding how a space is used, what challenges need to be solved, and what aesthetic feels most like home to our clients.
You might call it a “choose your own adventure” approach to design — where our role is to bring the professional experience, technical knowledge, and creative direction needed to turn ideas into a clear and actionable plan.
We focus heavily on the planning phase because that’s where the magic happens. When a space is designed well from the start, everything that follows (construction, materials, furnishings) falls into place with confidence.

Our Story.

Amber and Brilee first began working together early in their careers, originally as mentor and intern. What started as a learning opportunity quickly grew into a professional partnership as they spent years working side by side on residential design and remodeling projects.
Through those years, their shared vision for design became clear: homes should feel beautiful, thoughtful, and deeply personal spaces that reflect the people who live in them and support the way they truly live.
Eventually, the next step felt natural.
Together they founded Design Simply, a studio built not only on creativity and experience, but on a decade of friendship, trust, loyalty, and shared life.
Today, the partnership between Amber and Brilee extends beyond the studio. They are deeply involved in their community through organizations such as Women in Business and the Weber–Morgan Chamber of Commerce, and their shared values shape both their professional work and their personal lives.
In many ways, the story has come full circle: what began as a mentorship eventually grew into the partnership that built Design Simply.
And the same foundation that built their partnership continues to guide their work today: two women who believe great design begins with strong relationships, thoughtful planning, and a genuine love for creating spaces where people can truly live well.

Amber Gannon
Designer | Co-Founder-
Amber is the co-founder of Design Simply and brings more than a decade of experience in residential design, remodeling, and project planning. Known for her thoughtful approach and ability to see both the big picture and the smallest details, Amber specializes in helping homeowners create spaces that feel beautiful, functional, and deeply personal.
Her design philosophy centers around planning first. Amber believes that the most successful homes are not defined by a single style, but by how well they support the way people live. By carefully considering layout, flow, and functionality early in the process, she helps clients move forward with confidence by creating spaces that are both visually refined and practical for everyday life.
Throughout her career, Amber has worked closely with homeowners, contractors, and trade partners to guide projects from early concept through completion. Her experience collaborating with construction teams provides clients with a clear and thoughtful roadmap, helping bridge the gap between design ideas and the realities of building.
Outside of the studio, Amber’s creativity extends into her personal life as well. She lives in Ogden with her family and keeps a flock of ornamental birds on her urban property — a passion that has inspired the custom-designed “bougie” chicken coop she lovingly built for them. Caring for her flock and spending time outdoors has become one of her favorite ways to recharge and a reminder that great design isn’t just about how a space looks, but how it supports the life happening inside it.
Brilee Myers

Brilee is the co-founder of Design Simply and brings a deep passion for interiors, materials, and the thoughtful details that transform a house into a home. Known for her thorough research and ability to stay ahead of emerging design trends, she approaches each project with curiosity, creativity, and an eye for the elements that make a space feel both current and timeless.
Her process is rooted in care and intention. Brilee is known for approaching every project as if it were her own home: carefully considering how materials, finishes, and furnishings will come together to create spaces that feel cohesive, comfortable, and uniquely personal to each client.
Whether sourcing the perfect tile, studying new product lines, or layering textures and finishes, Brilee brings a level of detail and dedication that ensures every project reflects the highest level of thought and care.
Outside of the studio, Brilee enjoys spending time with her family, getting lost in a good romance novel, and keeping up a long-standing tradition of weekly trivia nights with friends.
